Dear Sirs,

We have received the above mentioned L/C against our Contract No.1098. After checking

the L/C, we have found a number of discrepancies. It is requested that you amend the L/C

as follows:

(1) The L/C should be “irrevocable” instead of “revocable”.

(2) “HK $” should be “CAN$”.

(3) “8,000 yards”instead of “8,000 pieces”.

(4) Delete “and TPND” from insurance clause.

(5) Add “In two equal monthly instalments beginning from June” before “transshipment

is prohibited.”
